Interior Designer, IDIBC
Sascha graduated with a diploma in Interior Design from BCIT in 2014. She is a member of the IDI and is currently working towards her NCIDQ accreditation. Prior to joining Area3 Sascha interned at Michael Green Architecture and went on to become a member of MGA’s non-profit Design Build Research (DBR). Besides her congenial personality she is extremely technical and organized which is invaluable to every project. Her passion for design is reflected in her attention to detail and positive attitude. As an avid dog lover, she brings her dog Boggie (Area3’s mascot) to the office on a regular basis. Sascha loves to spend time crafting, exploring the outdoors, and watching the sun go down.
What inspires you?
What is the most memorable place you have visited?
Thailand. It has so much to offer from the most intricate temples and hectic cities, to secret laid back beaches. One of my favorite experiences was visiting the elephant sanctuary where you get to interact with the rescued elephants.
What is your design mantra?
“Good design to me is both appearance and functionality together. It’s the experience that makes it good design.” Michael Graves
